A taste of Transylvania on Green Lanes
Brasserie Transylvania — full name Brasserie Transylvania - Erdélyi Étterem — serves authentic Transylvanian home cooking on Green Lanes in Harringay, on the same Eastern-European high street as several long-standing neighbourhood restaurants. Expect goulash and meatball soups, chicken paprikash, cabbage rolls and house cakes, in generous portions at reasonable prices.
Reviewers describe a cosy, characterful room with Hungarian pop music and warm, accommodating service. It's open daily, and does takeaway and delivery through Deliveroo — so however you'd rather eat, there's a way to enjoy it.
